Vintage Old Antique 1940s 1950s 1960s? Unknown Thermostat

Here is a thermostat housing of some sort.  I have no clue what this fits, so go with what you think only.  I would love to know what it is off of if you know.  If you buy it and it's worth a lot more than I've got it listed for, no I will not cancel the transaction, I'm just really curious.  I will answer any questions that you have about them.  Use the pictures and ask any questions that you may have.  No returns for any reason.  Ask any questions you have before purchasing.
